Went for a walk..... ended up in the pub. The girlfriend took over the jukebox. Nick Cave, The Decemberists, Black Mountain, Villagers, Laura Marling, Perfect Circle, Avett Brothers, Elbow, The Wonderstuff and Radiohead all featured.

Started work with Josh T. Pearson- Last of the Country Gentlemen. One the best things from this year.
Gave The Stroke new one another go. Its a grower
Panda Bear, 'Tomboy' stream from NPR
Listen to a TV program. 12 minutes of Mount Kimbie perform on Abbey Road Debuts

Stones Rose reunion? No thanks. Gave the 2 alums a play. Discovered Charles Bradley via Youtube. Awesome stuff.

In the car Caitlin Rose's debut. Dinner at friends house, bad bad bad Radio One style pop and cheap dubstep.

At home found via Drowned in Sound a track by Trouble Books & Mark McGuire. This led me to the Troubles Books album from lasr year. Ohio is a great place for music.... gave the new Beastie boys track a couple of listens too.

The Music Diary Project Day 3

Started off with 6music again.... a track off the new Foo Fighters album

In the car, finished off Mastodon - Blood Mountain. Then onto Suede - Coming Up.

At work... received an email from the girlfriend with this link in it.

Sent this back....

Gave the new Kate Bush track a play. More David Thomas Broughton. Tried out the new Strokes album. Better than I expected. Also gave the new Timber Timbre a listen.

On the way home finished Suede, moved on to Retribution Gospel Choir 's first album.

Back at the house more 6music, more Foo Fighters.
Checked out the new single from the Beastie Boys - Make Some Noise. Also found this - Booker T. Jones: "Representing Memphis [ft. Matt Berninger and Sharon Jones]

Started off with 6music. David Bowie — Life On Mars and Weezer — Hash Pipe

In the car finished off Depeche Mode - Violator and then went onto... Mastodon - Blood Mountain. A good wake up

At work finished off Nosaj Thing -Drift. Then for some strange noises Earth - Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light and Tim Hecker - Ravedeath, 1972. Checked out a few tracks by David Thomas Broughton.

On the way home more Mastodon.

A bit more 6music and then half of Later Live...With Jools Holland.

The Music Diary Project

Gonna try and do this . A good day to start. A long day.

The drive to work - Kanye West -The College Dropout

Then drove to Luton Airport and back in an old mini bus discovered this when i was stuck in the rush hour traffic jams. Old skool pirates at 8.30 in the morning!!

Back in work - Started going through this months emusic downloads. The Builders and The Butchers - Where The Roots All Grow and a couple of tracks from Nosaj Thing -Drift

The drive home - Finished off Kanye and then Depeche Mode - Violator

At home - not much a bit of 6music and a few plays of the new Kate Bush tune
